Historic Downtown Powell, Inc., the nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization and promotion of downtown Powell and its Central Business District, is honored to be chosen by The City of Powell and its leaders as the new organizers of the “2008 Powell Festival”. Over the last dozen years, this annual tradition continues to offer two wonderful days of 50+ free activities for children and family members of all ages, food, fun, games, rides, education, and much more. Since the festival has grown tremendously from past years, the layout has been modified to accommodate more Vendors, Artists, Crafters and Children’s activities. Our enhanced music concert series this year has “British Invasion”, “McGuffey Lane” and several other great musical artists scheduled to appear. And don’t forget about the sensational Shells and Sounds Fireworks celebration on Saturday night with fireworks!
